Edith Head是好莱坞黄金时代的著名设计师。在她为派拉蒙工作的43年中曾一度获得了43个奥斯卡题名并获奖8次,使她成为获此殊荣最多的女性。在采访中她承认她曾经用朋友的草图来试图获得在纪梵希为Audrey Hepburn设计的机会。1944年所有人的目光都集中在她当时为此片所设计的顶级貂皮衬礼服。由于当时战争引起的财务问题，她这一设计引来了很多争议。尽管身处Ginger Rogers的职业生涯顶峰时期让她难以获得更多的关注，至少她让世人都目睹了这件绝美的礼服。
