Autumn-Winter 2013/14

For this season, Italian power duo, Dolce & Gabbana invited the audience along to a fantasy garden party. Bathed with florals and awash with intimate lighting, it was reminiscent of a family history and Dolce & Gabbana captured the rustic moments in a family’s history and shared it with the world.

Models of all different ages joined the party one by one with trousers tailored high up on the waist and tapered which were paired with loose, crisp white shirts and pull overs, all with billowing sleeves and bore floral and saint motifs, capturing the essence of past Italian culture.

Suiting was vamped up with floral prints, sketchy and decorative, lacing the blazer like an arrangement in soft tones which were mirrored against bolder tones seen on loose embroidered tops with silk lined rolled sleeves.

With a mammoth collection of over 80 looks, Dolce & Gabbana’s idea for next spring was cemented when the final curtain call came and all in sections, the models triumphantly strode into the celebration.
