Autumn-Winter 2012/13 — Heavenly would be the best way to describe this collection, and every other beautiful world to connote with such a tranquil show. In the midst of the black palette that has been so fervent in Milan, Sander, once more, did what she does best, divine clothes imbuing softness and femininity. It could be mistaken for a Spring/Summer event as nudes, creams and soft pinks continued the pastels from SS12. The deconstructed look saw panels tailor dresses, jumpsuits and top-skirt combos. Knitted sleeves attached to nude chiffon attached to jersey made for disproportion, but elegantly so, and full legged trousers had rib-high waistlines coupled with stiff nude bustiers. There’s a new coat in town and it was Sander: collarless cashmere numbers which fastened only be one hold at the neck and billowing around the ankles or just under the knee. Sanders had created a collection to perfection.
