Autumn-Winter 2012/13 — The contemporary designs were unmistakable from the off as big black boiler suits and crazed-like tops were extra-large and extra-thick with indistinguishable sleeves and nipped in waists via tight black belts. High collars meant the entire body was overtaken by daunting black overcoats and at times, it was unclear as to where a top ended and a skirt begun, or whether a fur scarf was actually just that, or part of the coat. A very graphical collection, nonetheless, was pared-down, as grey and oyster, blue and metal needed no embellishment; it wasn’t glamour, it was cutting edge. The interesting use of zips made for creative sleeves, while lapels came oversized and layered to tailor a muddled aesthetic. Gold and silver metallics coupled with zipped-up panels created a sense of sci-fi, perhaps embodying the kooky collection formulated by asymmetries, layering creating an interesting silhouette.
