Spring-Summer 2013 – Bottega Veneta looked back to the Fourties this season, for a collection centered on tea dresses and floral prints. It was incredibly vintage and with that, soft, floaty and feminine. As has been the trend this season, shoulders were given a little shape, stopping just above the elbow, whilst hems dropped to knee level creating a conservative silhouette. The floral print touched everything encompassing whole dresses in a variety of colour ways. It was incredibly wearable, with loose skirts paired with beautifully beaded embellished blouses. This was all with a touch of ingenuity with bat wings for sleeves which gave a new dimension. Though it was a delicate collection, it was also one of many prints, with snakeskin and flowers working in unison. Alongside these readily wearable clothes were the square-toe platforms and the thin clutch bags that finished the outfits perfectly.
