Chloé
Spring-Summer 2013 – The central focus for this year’s Chloé girl is wearability: ‘pull-on and go.’ It was easy and effortless but just as chic: the perfect combination of fashion and practicability. For instance, white swinging shrugs and longer coats were practical as they were fashionable with pierrot ruffles. The white palette was ultra feminine with softly draped dresses, ruffled hems and gold or pink metallic shoes to match. Ruffles were a consistent look and dominated one-shoulder dresses, hems and coats and then ornamenting shoulders. Next came navy and white floral cloth creating tailored shorts, boxy tops and breezy cropped trousers. The silhouette was loose and oversized creating a straightforward and uncomplicated approach. Translucent fabrics have been a strong trend in Paris and Chloé cemented this with tops and dresses adding an extra layer over vests and shorts. Finale dresses were everything we would expect being ultra soft and delightfully girly.
