Vidal Sassoon, famous for creating the monochrome “mod” look, was responsible for the head turning (sorry) from the audience of Rosemary’s baby. Although Polanski created a gripping, frightful film that was very well received by the public, most people remember it for Mia Farrow’s pixie cut, made so famous by Sassoon that people are still copying it to this day.
