Schiaparelli

Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2017 – Schiaparelli’s modernist approach emanates vibrancy and colours. A multitude of different fabrics shows a vast utilization of different of different movement, from flowing movement of skirts and dresses to the rigidity of trousers and shorts. Schiaparelli’s creativity seems to know no bounds, with variety spearheading the collection and uniting a spectrum of ideas and prints. Clashing primary colours appear together in prints and pieces, reminiscent of Picasso-like eclecticism.  Bold animal prints occur in harmony with more subtle illustrations of elemental-like flowing fabrics, allowing the fabric to become an artistic canvas upon which different prints take center stage.   Make up was minimalistic, with contouring used to add shadow and shape to an otherwise bare face. Shoes acted as a spearhead to each look, with bright knee high boots and barely there heels united under the employment of the primary colours.
