Saint Laurent Woman Autumn-Winter 2016 – Saint Laurent provided glamour of the high-end nightclub variety in a collection sure to tantalise the free-spirits of the older millennial cohort.

There were more than just a few flashes of flesh on display, with dresses that were shorter than short and plenty of V-neck necklines too. Dresses with extremely tight fitting leather skirts were another staple, all cinched in by oversized colour belts which further emphasised the close-fitting nature of the designs.

Likewise, one-shoulder designs were especially popular with bows and fan-like details on the remaining strap drawing attention to the models’ decolletage and showcasing the role of Eighties inspiration in the collection.

The jackets were just as impactful, ranging from structured blazers to leather jackets made even tougher through the addition of gold buttons, silver star embellishments, zips, metallic cuffs and metal-enhanced cut outs; anything that could have been hand-designed in a bedroom basically goes.

Beauty had a huge impact in this show too with the models’ heavy black eyeliner, slicked back wet-look hair and glossy red lips integral to the attitude-heavy power of the designs.
