Max Mara

Spring-Summer 2014 – Max Mara has entered a subdued collection for SS/14 with only a burst of orange in a couple of pieces- quite light the pops of New York lighting on the streets, quite fitting colour tone fort the irreverent weather conditions we have here in the UK Grey all summer with 2 days of sunshine. One thing is for sure that this collection is all about the relaxed women with a continued hint of sportswear influence as we keep seeing through the fashion shows.

The entire collection is sleek and polished; it’s feminine yet sexy with the slinky slips and next to skin fabrics as silk and satins with cashmere coats.  It’s a minimalists dream and remains focused on creating the ultimate coats for the market, influenced by New York; one could almost think London with the colour tone. There was a fresh take on capes and all the fabrics were crisp, every silhouette was a nod towards elongating the figure in an effortless manor. These are the staple subtle pieces we need in our wardrobe for spring, exquisite Sunday attire for effortless glamour.
