Spring-Summer 2012 – The bird-centric collection got underway in a startling manner. The first model was the picture of a blackbird courtesy of an oversized black feathered wig. The next model wore brighter feathers and with it a floral green and pink dress. Floral and peacock prints added a feminine touch to a dark collection with the models walking down a blacked-out catwalk. The walk on the wild side meant eccentricity was key.  Cropped jackets came with over-the-top swirly shoulders, or in the case of the electric blue jacket, a complete sleeve of flamenco swirls. Puffball skirts were dramatised by finished below the knee, whilst other skirts adorned an asymmetric hemline and dresses ended in a frill cut. Camel coloured capes broke the domination of the navy colour palette whilst the coat was the finale number, with reworked trenches and a dress coat, it was a serious collection.
