Spring-Summer 2012 – It was the first collection in the absence of Galliano and the lead of Bill Gaytten. As one has come to expect from the fashion house, it was full of Parisian chic in the form of light evening wear. It could be said that the clothing represented understated glamour – it wasn’t glitzy but it was elegantly put together, with racy chiffon cocktail dresses and red lips. Fifties glamour trickled through the clothes in the guise of full organza skirts and puff ball dresses. There was leather in abundance for Cloche hats, buttered black and red leather skirts and red sleeveless tops. Ultra-skinny belts garnished undulating gowns and initiated several kick-pleats. Of prevalence was the mosaic pattern, it trimmed sleeves and hems of blouses and dresses before incarcerating entire tops. It was both a romantic and sexy collection in which everyone could enjoy and appreciate.
