Autumn – Winter 2013/14
With a drift away from the usual figure hugging bandage dresses, Max Azria developed a collection not only ideal for the fall season, but one with all round versatile glamour. There seemed to be an ethnic print theme as well as symmetrical patterns which drew the eye to flattering areas of the body. Cropped two piece suits and slouchy harem trousers (still in the traditional Herve Leger fabric, however) created an alternative to previous pieces we are used to seeing.
Fur hooded jackets and patterned leggings portrayed a layered look as well as enchanting sequin embellishment perfect for evening winter attire. Leather cut out harnesses and belts kept torsos in tact with transparent fabric also providing a more covered look around the chest and arms. There is no doubt the Herve Leger collection was aimed towards their traditional woman who have instilled confidence in both their inner and outer body.
