Autumn-Winter 2013/14

This season Donatella Versace set out to re invent Punk, and her high impact interpretation ‘Vunk’, certainly brought Punk into 2013. The collection is very Versace, it is sexy, provocative and confident and it oozes attitude.

Donatella presented a series of designs in mostly skin-tight PVC, where PVC could be used, it was. There were PVC mini skirts, trousers and dresses, all in a shockingly energetic colour palette of white, black, scarlet and canary. The collection was livened up even further by Donatella’s dramatic slashes into the clothes, revealing bare shoulders, thighs and mid riffs.

These are not designs for the faint hearted, but then since when has Versace ever been?
