Autumn-Winter 2011/12 –  Hannah MacGibbon was one of the female British designers heading Paris fashion week and she showed how the Chloé girls is still as pertinent as ever. This time it was a Seventies take on the modern silhouette. As one would expect there were ponchos (the pinnacle feature of a Chloé girl a la Sienna Miller), dungarees, denim, and super-wide trousers. Bold statement colours were high on the agenda with mint and grey, and red and green being strewn onto knits. Trousers were divided between white and black, whilst an A-line skirt beheld vertical stripes of green and cream. A print not to be missed was snakeskin: chiffon blouses embodied it, whilst drapes of it could be found on long sleeves jumpsuits. Suede and brown leather, so strong in the Seventies, came back with a vengeance in the collection. Panels could be found on A-line skirts which teemed with chiffon blouses (a prominent feature throughout Paris).
