Autumn-Winter 2010/11 – Dark, somber and immensely cool should be the way Stefani’s collection is spoken of. Black was the colour that brought the chicness to the sophisticated and smart clothes. There were blazers, suit trousers, crisp white shirts and Aline dresses that will be perfect for a day at the office. These were all giving a touch of ingenuity for that YSL flair. Aline dresses had wide suede arms, black jackets were oversized worn as cloaks, white blouses had slit sleeves, and the black silhouette was broken by extra long gold necklaces and belts. Accessories were a talking point. There were Amish hats, seventies floppy-rimmed black hats and luxurious gloves in all sizes and colours: elbow length pink ones, of shorter black ones. Shawls were a big thing. They came in PVC, mohair whilst some were edged in dark green fair. The clothes were classy, sexy and wearable: a perfect formula!
