Pringle of Scotland

Pringle of Scotland Man Autumn-Winter 2016-17 – This season knitwear was present throughout the shows; no one in fact does a solid jumper quite like the label founded by Robert Pringle in 1815.

The house’s creative director Massimo Nicosia, continues to weave strong winter staples and revived them on this occasion, through the meticulous incorporation of leather panels on preppy jumpers, posed as statement trousers against humble houndstooth and the occasional bright hues, like much-needed spices in an almost perfect concoction.

Nicosia captivated us with new additions to our list of timeless outerwear pieces, with the delicate pinch of lambswool, as lining inside a jacket, paneled on a sleeveless longline coat and sitting on the collar of one true show piece of a coat.

The taste was refined by the effortless and largely relatable styling, and the gentle nod to a Dr. Martens wearer. Deservingly, the audience’s clapping resonated inside London’s Reform Club.
