Spring-Summer 2013 – Viktor & Rolf named their collection Spiritual elegance combining the classical gentleman with a very Indian atmosphere. The herringbone motif adorned many items in a different way, a jacquard, jewels, and wool. The fabrics were softer and lighter, true of the natural fibres of India, silks and linens and they even did a suit in jersey. It put a western glamour into an earthy Indian theme of spirituality, which connotes retreats, vegetarianism and Buddhist meditation. Their brighter colours were like spice; paprika, cinnamon and cayenne pepper and everything seemed to have a sort of enchantment.
