Spring-Summer 2013 – Angela Missoni showed young explorers from a faraway land, insisting inspiration came from South East Asia for the jacquard and silk items.  I’m guessing Arabia had something pull as well, with the mystical music, desert boots and colours like arid sands. Although the Tiwwwn style wools and grizzly beards of models were present as well, as were military jackets and tribal prints from Africa. The knitwear didn’t disappoint, known for their patterns, colours and fabrics, Missoni rang true here with something from every part of the world and a mixture of layers to combine cultures. The collection embodied the exotic and exploration was certainly desirable.
