Spring-Summer 2013 – Basic is a word Dan and Dean used for this collection and I can’t help but agree. Predominantly denim and black, they were showing clubbing collection for the more society club rather than techno. It was chic with lots of embellishment; cuffs, neckwear, jewels. An invite to the kind of club that requires a shirt was what the Dsquared2 man was after and they had enough shirts to choose from, shirts dressed up, nothing plain or simple about the embellishment. The shoes were heavy with embellishment of their own, big metallic panels, buckles and heavy soles.
