Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – With its fox motifs adorning Tattersall shirts, Burberry stuck to its routes to portray the English country gent in his natural habitat. Flat caps and expensive tweed, quilted gilets and warm rain jackets were the dress du jour for this collection. He showed an outdoors type emphasised with umbrellas and the obligatory trench coat, but gave them the sense of style of a true gentleman with skinny trousers and leather gloves in colours that we associate with the country gent, mustard yellow, maroon brown and camouflage green. This collection implied that nothing can get in the way of style.
