Spring-Summer 2013

After an official return to couture last year, Versace clad girls stormed down the catwalk at Le Centorial with a show that epitomised the glamour and panache that the Italian label is synonymous with. Bringing a punch of colour to the snowy Parisian landscape, Versace presented a burst of canary yellows, hot pink and lashings of luxurious gold. Shimmering pinstripes adorned cigarette trousers and soft pleated skirts, which were amped up in true Versace style by blazers with plunging necklines, and armour like detail in the form of cuffs and shoulder pads. 80s power shoulders and biker style jackets complete with punky studs were juxtaposed with deliciously sweet candy colours, bringing the feminine touch to an array of powerful and sexy looks, as Donatella does so well.
