Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2017 – Elie Saab’s collection emanates femininity and beauty, with sheer fabrics and nude colourings working to utilize the female form as part of each design. Cold shoulders and plunging necklines are paired with long sheer maxi skirts and subtle embroidery and detailing in order to create a seemingly effortless drapery of sequins and jewels. Metallic cuffs, broad faux-fur shoulder sleeves and belts allow the whimsical designs to possess power and dominance reminiscent of Greek and Roman goddess figures, whilst winged eyeliner and large earrings work together to frame the face in order to create a mesmerizing subtle edge in comparison with the nude lip and natural skin.
