Dior Homme

Dior Homme Man Spring-Summer 2017 – The Dior Homme SS ’17 show was undoubtedly a definitive nod to the 90’s, particularly the punk and new wave subcultures, thanks to the heavily studded collection. Garments tended to be flowing and oversized, including bulky jackets, long vests, baggy trousers and checked shirts. There was however, a peppering of slimly tailored suits that proved to be a standout part of the collection. Dior stuck with a darker colour palate with this assemblage, favouring military greens, charcoal greys, scarlet reds and sandy beiges. Monochrome also featured heavily through many of the looks. Use of material was incredibly diverse, with everything from sporty mesh knits to flowing silks and hardy leathers. Each look was completed with a range of standout accessories, including thick metal rings, oversized back packs and large mirrored sunglasses. Models stomped down the runway in military style boots. This was a collection that was unafraid to make a statement.
