Damir Doma

Damir Doma Man Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – Damir Doma’s aesthetics are immaculate, minimal, unfussy and accurate silhouettes. His inspirations come from the world of art and architecture. Blending of both menswear and women’s wear not only in the collection but also the silhouettes has always been the key feature of the brand. Strong inspiration of Asian style was reflecting. The silhouettes were constructed with four base fabrics like velvet, knitted wool, satin and jersey along with silk, nylon, cashmere and synthetic fabrics. Silhouettes such as voluminous maxi pullovers, cigarette pants, long asymmetric skirt or wrap around and kimono style were carved in hues of greyscale, black, brown and deep green. The unfinished quality knitwear’s looked like pre- owned was unique and seems like it is soon going to be a part of modern fashion. The sudden arrival of orange injected in the collection was a slight off-beat. Accessories such as velvet two-toned boots, leather belts, big pendants and rounded sunglasses were shown.
