Burberry Woman Autumn-Winter 2016 – For a company that needs no introduction, Burberry showed the world just why it is the leading British luxury brand.

Creations in evergreen ranged from a reptile-esque jacket to a dress with well-placed pockets that created a curvaceous silhouette. Cape sleeves featured including some that were embellished. A memorable piece was a silver tinsel tassel dresses that shimmered beautifully. Homage was paid to the past in the form of a very military looking trench shaped coat.

Sequins on both dresses and trousers worn by men added a touch of glamour and showed just how well winter dressing can be done. Burberry debuted boots in brightly coloured snakeskin that are sure to stand out. The label’s new ‘It’ bag of the season looks set to be a small bag featuring a rather large strap resembling a belt.

Models Naomi Campbell, Alexa Chung, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Lilly Donaldson graced the front row as did American Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
