A.P.C. Woman Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – Minimal clean lines were offered at the A.P.C show, where a refined wardrobe was presented with a dash of restructuring.

Super low rise jeans in a baggy fashion allowed the unity of a simple, white shirt to be visible, lengthening the torso to create a very masculine aesthetic. This was further heightened by later pieces, including a denim jumpsuit with sparse detailing, ill-fitting and tucked into chunky white socks and pale sandals, along with a medium toned denim jacket, defined at the waist with a charming beige belt thereby creating a slightly flared hem which contrasted to the tight-fitted pant.

This collection was characterized by an ingenious use of denim, with a host of outfits manipulating this fabric to reconstruct classic pieces. Two key samples stood out; a micro-skirt shaped into an ultra-wide belt, playing off the beige, double-breasted trench coat, and a spectacular denim jacket, top buttoned to create a cape construction over a tasteful and uncomplicated coat.
