Wincey
Wincey fabric is a British fabric. It is usually constructed using a plain weave or a twill weave and was originally manufactured using a cotton warp and a wool or worsted weft, but can now be made using a mixture of fibres, and nearly always uses a certain percentage of wool. It is a warm fabric and resembles flannel fabric. For this reason, it is used frequently for shirts and pyjamas. Wincey fabric originates from Scotland and was sometimes referred to as Linsey-Woolsey. This fabric was constructed using a linen warp and a woollen weft.
