Helanca

Helanca fabric is a pique fabric, usually made of Polyamide (Nylon.) It has a four way stretch, and because of its elasticity it is used for bathing suits and other technical performance needs. Helenca fabric is soft, stretchy, breathable and slightly transparent. It is comfortable to wear, retains its shape and for these reasons it is also used extensively in hosiery and underwear. It is similar to spandex and can also be used in dance costumes, and other garments which require lots of movement.
