Balbriggan
Balbriggan is a lightweight, knitted cotton fabric that’s name originates from a town in Eastern Ireland where it was originally manufactured. It was formally used to make hosiery but it can also be used for sportswear and nightwear. It is generally un-dyed and used extensively in underwear. It is quite similar to jersey fabric and is very smooth and comfortable to wear next to the skin.
