Vionnet

Spring-Summer 2015 – Vionnet is one of the most prestigious maisons in France, and that collection is a confirmation of its greatness.

The colour palette is played around the concept of Light: it’s based on three main colours (white; cream; feeble grey), but with unexpected spots of bright colours (red; blue; purple; gold).

The collection is made of classic garments: long skirts; fairytale dresses; fur and feathers. Some of the pieces look almost like fabric sculptures to be admired, rather then simple dresses made to be worn.

The Vionnet’s collection for the next S/S15 vehicles an idea of Femininity based on an ideal woman, an algid and ethereal woman, who is wearing sumptuous cloths.

What Vionnet makes through this collection is transforming that ideal woman in a real one.
