DKNY

Spring-Summer 2015 – A heavenly amalgamation of influences strode down the runway at DKNY, which saw a return of the popular stripes and graphic art prints for this season as well as distinct influences ranging from the 90s in the crop tops and co-ords to the 50s in the simple yet beautiful midi-not-quite-full length dresses.

The winning reasoning behind this collection was in the particularly well thought out colour palette, ranging from jumpers and skirts layered together to showcase the stripes of beautiful pastel yellow contrasting against a light blue and maroon. Purple and red worked together in a striking linear print, and monochromatic art prints were used to great effect on big jumpers with enlarged cuffs.

A stunning collection which used placement of print to great effect in order to showcase how the right choice of colour, strategically placed patterns and aesthetically pleasing prints can make a collection stand out from the crowd.
