Comme des Garçons

Spring-Summer 2015 – Rei Kawakubo sent her models down the runway in military-inspired outfits. It was clear that it was an anti-war affair, as slogans mentioning ‘peace’ and ‘love’ were plastered on tops. Military jackets in muted tones were paired with bermuda shorts, which resembled the uniform worn by British soldiers and sailors from the Royal Navy. The first few jackets were adorned with leopard print, which gave the formal wear an exotic feel. Models donned shoes similar to Mexican pointy boots. Cuffs of blazers were seen in red and blue, which added a dash of colour to the range.
