J.W. Anderson

Spring-Summer 2015 – J.W Anderson has continued his signature style of creating androgynous garments. Instead of using muted colours like before Anderson has played well with colour. Off the shoulder and chest baring tops made a regular appearance on the runway. Knitted tunics of artist John Allen’s landscapes offered a playful vibe and gave a countryside feel. Stripes kept appearing on knitwear, trousers and ties throughout the show. Vests made a comeback, but this time with knots that formed the casual look with an edge. Body hugging cropped tops with zip detail added to the androgynous effect. Backless blazers and silky garments in vibrant colours created a lively sensation.
