Fay Woman Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – Classic and feminine are the words that come to mind when describing FAY’s FW17 collection. Opening with work-friendly separates, the collection eased into an edgier style — perfect for nights on the town. The crystal and stud-embellished pieces added a bit of sparkle (literal and figurative) to otherwise flat pieces. We appreciated the playing with texture, especially a look that combined sequins and snakeskin. Overall the collection was understated in cuts and design, but shine in its detailing. Standouts for us were the bustiers and leather belts — both provided versatility and flair to the more demure looks.
