Desigual Woman Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – The sneak peak Desigual gave fans of their AW 2017 collection on social media showed hand crafted studded leather boots and leather baker boy caps, contrasted with embellished floral designs, proved to be a sure theme throughout the collection. The floral print was given a wintery edge through layering with leather and tartan, and toughened up with leather accessories.

In classic Desigual style, patch work and loud printed designs were rife, many containing mixes of denim, floral and lace to create interesting mixed media pieces. But perhaps the most stand out design were the accessories. Hats, bags, boots and thick waist corset belts were all heavily studded, in keeping with the muted floral-rocker theme.

Rather than displaying statement pieces, each model was dressed in a carefully styled and layered outfit, displaying ready-to-wear fashion in its purest form. Amongst the leather, tartan and wool, one stand out trend throughout was military tailoring, with many jackets and skirts displaying a double breasted, buttoned design and paired over flowing tapestry style dresses.
