Comme des Gargons Homme Plus

Comme des Gargons Homme Plus  Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – This collection has a clear boyish, punk attitude. Models were seen with bright coloured wigs and shoes. There was the aspect of having fun along with wearing tailored garments.  The show opened with structured jackets, relaxed trousers and cut out shirts that showed the body.  The human form was celebrated with cropped tops and shorts. There was even looks that required no trousers to be worn.  Rather than a sensual expression Rei Kawakubo seems to be showing a more innocent approach to exposing flesh.

The idea of boyhood is further featured with abstract prints in light yellow, blue, green and grey. Textures on jackets added depth to the monochrome looks.

Kawakubo is known for delivering her love for non-conventional and artistic manner. In this case she used sculptured moulds of dinosaurs and cars on formal wear.

There was a great mixture of casual looks to the more formal wear.
