Vivienne Westwood Men Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – “Rebellious” feature has always been associated with her collections. Yes, we are talking about Vivienne Westwood. Vivienne Westwood’s 2017 fall/winter menswear collection was unisex. As always this collection is also highly inspired by Punk era but with an amazing twist of supportable attitude towards Mother Nature. Vivienne Westwood is motivating us to get inspired by the system of 1940’s recycling textiles. Lots of patchwork of fabrics in silhouettes was trying to explain the recycling technique. Some kind of freedom was sensed in the colour palette of this collection. Colours like beige, burgundy, black, white, gray, red and many more were seen. Double breasted suits with broad shoulders, set of knitted oversized t-shirts, cardigans and tulle skirts. Fabrics used were denim, wool, leather, cotton, and silk. To accessorise the look – not so attract crowns which say “Ecotricity”, knee-length boots and bandanas were seen enhancing the environmental friendly messenger looks. This collection unfolds the need of being eco-friendly.
