Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Men Autumn-Winter 2017-18 – Maison Mihara Yasuhiro is known for his re-creation of Army and Military inspired collections. There is always a slight touch of 80’s and 90’s era. His characteristics are uniqueness, rebellious and quirky ideas. Maison Mihara Yasuhiro fall/winter 2017 menswear collection was seen extremely rebellious. The patterns of the silhouettes were finely tailored with immensely inspired by military silhouettes construction. Down jackets, oversized woollen coats, leather wrap skirts and ankle length skinny pants were in the hues of earthy colours. Colours seen were burgundy green and plenty of black. Embellishment of huge silver buckled on coats was constant throughout the collection. Live singing of ravishing Maïa Barouh was surprising. “THIS IS TOMORROW” engraved in colourful fur on the sleeves of the long coat was fascinating. The silhouettes were styled with sneakers to complete the look. Berets in felt and fur were seen highly inspired by the revolutionary-style.
