Autumn-Winter 2014/15 – Well… Yohji Yamamoto breaks all the rules with this season’s range.
Clash after pattern after texture after structure. Bold and abstract prints could not be anymore of an eye-catching feast if it tried. Floral prints mixed with army camouflage and jazzed up with a lace print plays the ultimate “neo-futuristic hobo.”
Theatrical imagery and artistic structures bring the garments to life and adjust the intentions and physique of the modern man. By extending and enlarging the jacket and trouser ensemble, this has evolved the traditional suit and tie combination, the trousers have been altered to mid-calf length and standard dinner jackets are over lapped to create an elongating vision.
Extra touches were made in the models’ appearances with strand hair extensions of reds and blues; emphasizing the bohemian/ psychedelic aura that this line entails.
