Spring – Summer 2014 –Hermés took us to the amazon for Spring/ summer 2014, not just with the set, but with beautiful rich colours ranging from green , deep purple and blue teamed with peach and hot orange. The silhouettes were lose and classic and effortlessly cascading around the body, one leather wrap jacket in a deep dark green is sensational and sassy yet so simple. Skirt lengths were midi and pleated with volume so the swished down the catwalk and trousers came in the form of culottes.
The collection moves towards a safari inspired theme with crisp white shirts teamed with beige mac over coats with wool wrap skirts and beige jumpsuits. The collection is a very slick and modern teaming it with some vintage essence to it, it makes me want to pack my bag and grab some binoculars (such as these cute Vortex ones) and wear each piece exploring the world. What more could we expect from the house that defines worldwide luxury.
