They were introduced in the late 1950s as formal fashion attire for young teenage girls but became popular as Audrey Hepburn worn them. Then by the early 1960s they became a style worn for women of all ages. Kitten heels made a comeback in the 1980’s and since then, have been a popular shoe amongst all women’s because of its style and comfort. In the Valentino’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection the stylish kitten heels are shown in the most feminine and neutral way matching the collection colour palette.
