Autumn-Winter 2013/14 – Whether it’s Ready-to-Wear or Couture, Donatella’s proposition is always about sexy and slightly intimidating clothing. Nothing showed this more, then Naomi Campbell kicking off the Couture season in a tiny black number hung together with a rivet of hook and eye’s to reveal the black lace bra and at the same time a whole lot a’ leg! There was drama in the rich, dark palette of cherry red, maroon, black, navy-petrol blue and forest green. It was the perfect mix of glamour and seduction with ultra tight silhouettes, slits, slashes and transparent lace panels across the chest. A rock ‘n’ roll attitude swept through the show with chains warn around the neck, flared trousers and an impeccably cut leather jacket. As is the norm for Versace, evening dresses showed flesh in a subtle way with lace and transparent chiffon. The finale of jumpsuits quite literally provided the final flash of drama, they were skin tight, shimmering and left nothing to the imagination.
