Alaskine
Alaskine is a crisp silk-wool blend fabric. During the 1950’s and 1960’s it was primarily used for making coats and jumpers. It is a dressy fabric and was very popular as a day-time favourite. Nowadays however it is really only found in vintage garments, as it has been replaced by its modern day equivalent Zibeline.
