Spring-Summer 2013 – Ennio Capasa wanted to portray a feeling of lightness, freedom and possibility, but to keep things masculine and easy to wear. He played with textures, educating us on the fusion of cotton and silk that gives a different approach to leather, with the same look but much lighter. The ‘badboy’ that was the man of this collection wore baggier trousers for relaxedness, and although there was a hint of motorcycle mischief and punk rocker, the look was easy-going for a hot summer. I was especially interested in how he took a rather dark style and gave it an impossible lightness, not just in colour but in fabric.
