Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – This collection leant far away from the wealthy businessman that is typical of Emporio’s collection and towards a darker theme. Assassin was what came to mind when seeing the elegant men walk menacingly down the catwalk in long velvet and leather trenches, capes, gloves and draping sued boots. They wore dark fedoras oversized military hats giving an air of secrecy and deceit, hooded trench coats and long leather gilets, almost looking like a bullet proof vest. The models possessed arrogant elegance, which was true to the feel of the collection, a sort of futuristic military or glamorous secret intelligence service.
