Roberto Cavalli

Autumn-Winter 2013/14

Roberto Cavalli embraced the new season with a lavish collection. The experienced designer based his latest collection on a love of craftsmanship and played with the power of seduction.

The colour scheme was striking, limited to black and white with dashes of red, this worked to make every look a stand out design of its own.

Roberto indulged his love of embellishment this season using everything from studs and embroidery to touches of chain mail. There was also a wide range of textures throughout the designs adding further depth, including fur, knitwear and silk.

The collection was more than a gentle now to punk, but with baroque touches and sleek tailoring it was a glamorous and refined take on punk.
