Spring-Summer 2011 – Frida Giannini showed a collection with a sixties jetsetter, rock look. Tall, lanky models sported slim suits, double breasted with the sleeves casually pushed up, thick knit slouchy jumpers with loose necks and slim line leather jackets. There was an almost safari style to some of the suits, with large outer pockets on the front of the jackets. Some trousers were skinny and some slightly flared in suedes, denims and silks. Mini shorts were a feature teamed with floral shirts, thick knit cardigans and lightweight linen scarves giving a sixties boho feel to it. Loafers with heavy rubber soles, slim line brogues and leather studded sandals were the shoe of choice, setting precedent for the summer. A very sharp, luxurious collection.
