Autumn-Winter 2012/13 – The subcultural element – the nihilistic lack of fear and the prospect of no future – purported the post-punk attitude. In all black, the girls wore Fedora’s sinking below the eyes, leather gloves, high collars, panels of leather, and, to top it off, knee-high boots, all with sunglasses for a very ‘Matrix’ way of dressing. Slouchy trousers and boiler-suits maintained the pyjama style and patches of fur colluded with the notion of a new micro-trend. More shocking were the transparent tops with the smallest modesty upheld with only a slither of black masking tape. Lines were kept straight and minimal, especial on the post-modern blazers. Deconstructed coats added a spark of ingenuity, in particular, the mac came with a crescendo of collars. It was a dark and androgynous collection, with a hint of fetish, as black, leather and fur dominated.
