Spring-Summer 2012 – A colourful and exuberant collection as orange blossomed, banana yellow shone, and a multitude of other colours created a tropical palette: some colours clashed – like red and green – whilst whole outfits encompassed orange.  Despite the exultant colouring the silhouette was womanly and chic as the mature clothes hung loosely off the models. There was soft draping as cardigans hung off blouses and loose ties and braids circled trousers and shorts. With Williamson lending inspiration from Japan, one could see images of Tokyo’s landscape stretched out on the clothing culminating in a lavish sunset bearing plums, mustard and bronze. The famous iconic dresses were not to be missed – this time chiffon was embroidered with ostrich and beads and tiny shells lined waists; the shells encrusted the bags too lending the collection to the aquatics.
